LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – An armed suspect was taken into custody in south Las Vegas Wednesday morning, Metro police said.
Las Vegas Metro Police said officers responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 9300 block of Bondeno Street. This is near the 215 beltway and Eastern Avenue. It started at 5:25 a.m.
Police said someone was armed with an edged weapon and refused to exit the residence.
No injuries have been reported, police said. No one else was inside the home.
The incident was deemed a barricade. SWAT and crisis negotiators responded.
At 11:37 a.m., FOX5 received an update from Metro police that the suspect was taken into custody.
