LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Two people have been arrested in California following a shooting that left one person dead in east Las Vegas back in June.
Officials say one of the suspects, identified as 44-year-old April Fontenot, was arrested by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department on Friday, August 7 while the second suspect, identified as 19-year-old Jeremiah Fontenot, was arrested on Monday, August 10 by the Los Angeles Police Department.

This comes following a shooting investigation that left a man dead at an apartment complex on June 23. Authorities say the man was talking to a friend when he was shot several times.
No other information was provided at the time by officials.
Both suspects were booked into the Century Regional Detention Facility pending extradition back to Las Vegas. Once they are extradited, they will be booked for open murder with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit murder.
