LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Online registration for the Clark County School District’s 2026-27 school year is now open, and officials are reminding families they must register students every year — even if they are already enrolled.
Families can enroll students online using a computer, phone or tablet, according to the district. Parents and guardians with students currently enrolled can complete registration through Campus Parent on Infinite Campus, where they can update key information such as contact numbers, addresses and emergency contacts.
The new school year begins Monday, Aug. 10, 2026.
Families who are new to CCSD — or returning after leaving the district — must provide required documents to their child’s zoned school.
Those documents include a parent or guardian ID, the child’s identification such as a birth certificate or passport, immunization records and proof of address.
The district also offers a “Shared Housing” option during online registration for families who do not have a lease, mortgage or utility bill in their name.
CCSD is also promoting options for families who want a school outside their neighborhood zone. Open enrollment and available magnet seats can be found on the ‘It’s Your Choice’ website.
In addition, CCSD will implement new general school start times beginning Aug. 10.
Under the district’s new schedule, schools will begin at the following times:
- Middle schools from 7:30 a.m. to 1:41 p.m.
- High schools from 8:30 a.m. to 2:41 p.m.
- Elementary schools from 9:15 a.m. to 3:26 p.m.
The district says some campuses with specialized programming or shared transportation may have different schedules.
CCSD officials also are pointing families to the district’s new five-year strategic plan, “The Destination District,” approved by the Board of School Trustees. Superintendent Jhone Ebert said the plan is a long-term “North Star” for CCSD focused on academic excellence, career-connected learning and safe, supportive schools, including a goal that every student graduates with a “marketable asset” such as college credits, an industry credential, a military pathway or a durable-skills portfolio.
