LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Sunday is St. Patrick’s Day and Southern Nevadans will have plenty of ways to celebrate.

On the strip, New York New York is hosting its annual Celtic Feis featuring a lot of bagpipes, plus food and drink specials.

Head downtown and at the Fremont Street Experience’s St. Patrick’s Shamrock which kicked off Thursday, featuring a series of Irish bands playing for free.

Firefighters from all over the state will parade down Fremont Street before heading down 3rd Street to Hogs and Heifers saloon. Once they are there they’ll go head to head in the annual St. Patrick’s Day challenge games.

And later that night one of the best-known Irish punk bands Flogging Molly is headlining the Shamrock Rebellion Concert Festival at the downtown events center.

In downtown Henderson you can join the Sons and Daughter’s of Erin for the 56th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and festival.
