LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The city of Las Vegas is opening splash pads at parks and offering youth spring break camp opportunities ahead of spring break and unseasonably warm temperatures.
Splash pads open March 13–23
Water-play areas at six parks will temporarily open Friday, March 13, through Monday, March 23. Splash pads are free and open to the public during park hours.
The city encourages families to bring water, sunscreen and hats.
The following parks will have splash pads open:
- Ward 1 – Rainbow Family Park, 7151 W. Oakey Blvd.
- Ward 2 – All-American Park, 1551 S. Buffalo Drive
- Ward 3 – East Las Vegas Family Park, 4480 E. Washington Ave.
- Ward 4 – Trigono Hills Park, 3805 Cliff Shadows Parkway
- Ward 5 – Kianga Isoke Palacio Park at Doolittle Complex, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd.
- Ward 6 – Centennial Hills Park, 7101 N. Buffalo Drive
Indoor pools open for swim
Two indoor city pools will offer open swim during spring break.
Municipal Pool, 431 E. Bonanza Road, will be open for open swim from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20.
Pavilion Pool, 101 S. Pavilion Center Drive, will be open for open swim from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 14, and from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20.
Swimming rates are $2 for ages 4–17 and ages 50 and older; $3 for adults; and free for children ages 3 and younger.
Spring break youth camps available
The city’s 2026 Spring Break Kids Camp is available for youth in kindergarten through eighth grade at six community centers across the city. Camp runs Monday through Friday, March 16–20, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Campers will participate in arts and crafts, sports, games, music, life skills activities, nutrition education and physical fitness, supervised by trained staff. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
