LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — With temperatures expected to reach 105 degrees, Clark County is activating its cooling stations June 4-5.
Cooling station locations include The Salvation Army, the Courtyard Homeless Resource Center, local recreational centers, senior centers, and most valley libraries.

Community members are encouraged to take precautions during the heat event, including limiting outdoor activity during peak afternoon hours, staying hydrated, checking on neighbors and older adults, and never leaving children or pets unattended in vehicles.
