LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County is warning residents about a phone scam in which callers use a number that appears as “Clark County” to try to obtain personal information.
County officials said the county does not call individuals to request Medicare or Medicaid information.

Residents are urged to stay vigilant, exercise caution and avoid sharing personal details with unsolicited callers.
Anyone who receives a suspicious call should hang up and independently verify the caller by looking up official county contact information before providing any information.
