LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Emergency units responded after a building partially collapsed in the east Las Vegas Valley on Friday afternoon.
Multiple Clark County Fire Department units responded to the 2300 block of Exeter drive at approximately 12:26 p.m. The Red Cross is also on the scene to assist, and that organization reported that the front of a four-unit building collapsed just after noon.
All four units of the building have reportedly been damaged and 14 people were displaced from their homes. First responders said that one person suffered a severe head injury.
Officials say that the collapse was not due to a fire, but is most likely related to the age of the building.
