LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A valley father has been found dead more than a month after going missing.
David Ramirez, 62, was last seen on Ring camera footage leaving his home near Desert Inn and Hollywood on Nov. 6. His daughter, Julieta Jimenez, tells FOX5 that police informed her Monday night that his body was found.
When he first went missing, Jimenez shared that two years ago, her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
“It comes and goes, it is not consistent… I am hoping this an episode and he will come to a lucid moment,” Jimenez said.
Search efforts for Ramirez would see more than 100 volunteers, including family, friends, neighbors, and strangers searching the area on foot, dirt bikes, and by car. A K9 unit from San Diego would also travel to the valley to help.
Jimenez and others would also take the search to homeless shelters and encampments across the valley, passing out flyers with her father’s information and clothing gathered from donations.

The last tip she received was from a man who claimed to have given her father a jacket.
Jimenez and her family have launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover her father’s funeral expenses.
