LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Vegas Golden Knights Brayden McNabb is hospitalized after taking a puck to the face in the first period of Game 2 for the Stanley Cup Final, ESPN reports.
The incident happened at 10:52 in the first period, according to the league, at the Lenovo Center on Thursday, while the Knights visit the Hurricanes. He was hit by a slapshot from Hurricanes forward Nikolaj Ehlers.
The Vegas Golden Knights ended the first period 1-0, and scored again in the second period thanks to Brett Howden.
