LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The city of Las Vegas is allowing drivers to pay certain parking tickets with donations of school supplies through July 15.
Qualifying parking tickets issued between May 1, 2026, and June 15, 2026, can be satisfied with new, unwrapped school supplies of equal or greater value than the fine. Drivers must bring supplies within 30 days of their citation date. A purchase receipt is required.

Supplies and tickets will be collected at the Parking Services Office, located at 350 S. City Parkway in Las Vegas, open Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
Accepted items include:
- Pencils
- Pens
- Erasers
- Dry erase markers
- Index cards
- Paper towels/disinfecting wipes
- Card stock
- Copy paper
- Storage bins
- Rulers
- Scissors
- Pencil sharpeners
- Post-it notes
- Loose-leaf paper
- Books (appropriate for grades K through 12)
- Educational games
All supplies collected through the program will be donated to the Public Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
