LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A juvenile student was arrested earlier this week after school administrators recovered a firearm on the campus of Green Valley High School, according to officials.
Clark County School District Police responded to the school on Wednesday and took the student into custody. No other information was released regarding the student.

In a message sent to parents, school officials confirmed that no threats were made against students or staff, and that standard policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions are underway.
School officials also urged families to discuss safety and conduct expectations with their children, reminding the community that reports can be made to administration at 702-799-0950 or anonymously through SafeVoice.
