LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Health officials have confirmed a tuberculosis investigation at a Las Vegas elementary school.
Southern Nevada Health District confirmed they are conducting the investigation at Cambiero Elementary School after a positive TB case was identified. SNHD said close contacts have been notified of possible exposure.
The investigation follows a TB investigation at multiple schools in December. The person who tested positive had visited multiple school district campuses, and students and staff at Ruthe Deskin Elementary School were identified as having potential TB exposure.
FOX5 has reached out to Clark County School District, but hasn’t heard back.
