LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A helicopter crashed into a vehicle while landing Sunday night at the North Las Vegas Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The FAA tells FOX5 three people were on board when it struck a parked vehicle and crashed, around 9 p.m. North Las Vegas police originally told us it happened during takeoff. But FAA officials are saying the crash happened when it was landing.
They are also reporting at least one crew member sustained serious injuries.
Our FOX5 cameras captured emergency vehicles outside a hangar at the airport.
No other details have been released at this time.
