LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Henderson Fire Department held its annual swift-water rescue training Monday at Cowabunga Bay Water Park.
The hands-on exercise is designed to prepare Henderson firefighters for emergencies that may arise from monsoons, flash flooding and other severe weather events.

The training runs from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., and is not open to the public.
