LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — New details are emerging on how U.S. Marshals arrested 22-year-old Zymire Hughes in Las Vegas.
Hughes is accused of terrorizing people in Philadelphia while wearing a “Chucky” mask.
According to a Las Vegas police arrest report, Marshals found that Hughes frequented an address along Boulder Highway.
Wednesday afternoon, after 1 p.m., U.S. Marshals were preparing for a surveillance and apprehension operation at that address.
It wasn’t until 5 p.m. that Hughes got out of the home. They were able to arrest him instantly, ending a nearly two-week search.
Hughes is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center as he awaits extradition back to Pennsylvania, which Marshals say can take several weeks.
