LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority announced that it will be offering a sponsorship to every player on the back-to-back WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces roster.
“We’re doing something that’s never been done before,” LVCVA wrote in a social media post. “We’re going #ALLINLV and sponsoring EVERY. SINGLE. PLAYER. on the @LVAces roster this season!”
The announcement noted that each player will receive a $100,000 sponsorship. According to spotrac.com, a website that tracks professional sports salaries, eight players on the Aces are set to be paid less than that this season.
