LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – As it holds an informational picket in Downtown Las Vegas, the culinary union announced that it has reached a tentative contract agreement with the Rio Hotel & Casino.
Culinary Workers Union Local 226 made the announcement late Friday afternoon in a social media post. The new deal will cover approximately 670 workers for a five-year term.
The union announced deals with Sahara and El Cortez earlier in the day. It also pushed a strike deadline back to Monday morning at 8 a.m. for the handful of remaining uncontracted resorts.
