LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has identified a suspect after two women were shot and killed outside a convenience store last week.

The shooting happened on Tuesday, March 5, on the 5000 block of East Tropicana Avenue. Police were notified by a shotspotter alert near Tropicana and Nellis.

According to the coroner, the shooting victims are Rona Ah-Foon, a 29-yesar-old, and Summer Lange, 29. They died from gunshot wounds and their manner of death was ruled as a homicide. Police said a man in his 20s was shot and injured but remains in “stable condition.”

Police identified Jason Robert Manuel as a suspect in the shooting and issued a warrant for his arrest on March 6. He is facing two counts of open murder and one charge of attempted murder. Police are still looking for the suspect.

“We really do need the public’s assistance,” said LVMPD Homicide Lieutenant Jason Johansson. “Anyone familiar with this shooting or the details surrounding this shooting, please reach out through homicide.lvmpd.com or Crime Stoppers.”

Lt. Johansson says police believe this incident was targeted.
