LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police responded to a hit-and-run crash that injured one pedestrian on Wednesday night.

According to a police report, officers responded to a crash near the intersection of Charleston Blvd. and Decatur Blvd. shortly after 9:30 p.m. The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening head and body injuries.

Police shut down the intersection, and motorists are advised to avoid the area. An investigation is ongoing.
