LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has released new video highlighting another successful drone-assisted arrest last month.

According to a social media post, Las Vegas police were called out to a home on Saturday, March 21 following reports of two men arguing in a backyard, one of them allegedly armed with a gun. Officers say the incident escalated when the suspect began firing shots into the air.

Police quickly deployed a drone to help locate the suspect. The drone pinpointed his position and guided officers to the scene, where he was taken into custody without further incident. Authorities also recovered a firearm.
