LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Raiders announced a new multi-year partnership with Waymo to bring autonomous rideshare services to Allegiant Stadium.
According to a release shared Thursday, this partnership marks the first time a professional football team has partnered with an autonomous vehicle company.
Fans traveling to Allegiant will have access to a dedicated pickup and drop-off area with clear signage to help navigate games, concerts, and major events.

Waymo is also offering fans other exclusive experiences, including a “Kickoff Kid” program, pre-game field passes, and upgraded VIP seats.
“Fans come to Allegiant to experience once-in-a-lifetime moments, and getting in that mindset all begins and ends with the journey,” said Sandra Douglass Morgan, President of the Las Vegas Raiders. “Partnering with Waymo reflects our drive to lead the industry in innovation and provide fans the best experience. Most importantly, it gives them a safe, reliable autonomous designated driver so they can focus entirely on enjoying the event.”
Fans are encouraged to download the Waymo app and express interest in being among the first to experience the ride service.

This partnership is the latest effort in the wave of autonomous rideshare services coming to the Strip. This also comes after after Waymo announced plans to launch robotaxi service across the Las Vegas Strip last month. Zoox, a competitor company, began offering paid ride service on Monday.
