LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A woman is dead and a man is in custody after a suspected DUI crash in the southwest Las Vegas valley Friday morning.
Nevada State Police is currently on the scene of a fatal crash on I-215 and the southbound Durango flyover. Troopers initially responded to the scene around 4:15 a.m. and determined that the crash involved two vehicles.
A woman was confirmed dead at the scene, and a man was arrested for suspected impairment.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while the investigation is underway. The I-215 westbound Durango off-ramp will remain closed, and northbound Durango traffic will be diverted onto westbound I-215.
