LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The 12th annual Military, Veterans & First Responders Appreciation Day returns to the valley this fall.

The Las Vegas community is invited to join in celebration and gratitude for the men and women who serve the country and protect communities. The free, family-friendly event is happening Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Craig Ranch Regional Park, located at 628 W. Craig Road in North Las Vegas.

This year’s event honors the sacrifices and service of military personnel, veterans, first responders and their families with a full day of entertainment, activities and community connection. Guests can enjoy live performances, food vendors, family activities and special tributes throughout the day.

Hosted by actor and comedian Jeff Leach, the celebration will also feature appearances and performances from Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian Brad Garrett, Las Vegas’ own DJ Bonics, former Las Vegas Raiders standout and Jim Thorpe Award winner Trey Taylor, country rock band Thrillbilly Deluxe and more special guests.
