LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A government missing persons database website has posted images of clothes and a watch reportedly belonging to an unidentified man found dead near Lake Mead in 2022.

In 2022, the remains of four individuals were found in the area between May and October. Three of those were identified, but the fourth, a man found in a barrel at Hemenway Harbor, remains unidentified. Investigators say that victim was an adult male who died from a gunshot wound and the manner of death was homicide.

NAMUS.gov is the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, a clearinghouse and resource center for missing, unidentified and unclaimed persons cases across the United States.

That site has a database searchable through criteria such as location, estimated age of the victim, and the date the body or remains were found. The information on this unidentified victim estimates a height between 5′6″-6′1″, with an estimated age range of 27-61. Those remains were found on May 1, 2022.

  • Light blue jeans with no label and a Vidal Sasson-style design on the pocket, 46″ waist and 30″ length
  • Size 11 blue and white Trax tennis shoes
  • Silver Timex digital watch
