LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A motorcyclist is dead after a crash on I-11 in the downtown Las Vegas-area, Nevada State Police say.
Police said they received reports of a crash at 11:13 a.m. at I-11 southbound just north of Casino Center. It involved a motorcyclist and an SUV.
Police said the rider was an adult man. He died at the hospital. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

several left travel lanes will be closed with one travel lane (far right lane) will remain open at this time. IR15 south to I-11, MLK to I-11 south and IR15 north to I-11 will be closed for an undetermined time. Please advise motorist to use alternate routes and to avoid this area.
