LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A motorcyclist was treated for a possible fracture Friday afternoon west of Skye Canyon.
Videos and photos of a rescue operation were posted on social media by Friends of Las Vegas Metro Search and Rescue. Officials said the incident happened around 12 p.m. several miles west of Skye Canyon. The motorcyclist sustained injuries riding off-road.

The victim’s riding partner called in to search and rescue, but there was a bad phone connection. A total of three units responded, including an air unit.
Officials said the victim was treated on scene for a possible pelvic fracture, but was in good spirits. They were extracted with a litter hoist and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
