LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Clark County coroner released the latest numbers for heat-related deaths in 2025.

Tuesday, the coroner’s latest report said 29 people have died in situations where heat was a factor. The youngest person who died was 28 years old, and the oldest was 90.

The first data reporting heat-related deaths from the coroner was released on June 11. It reported three deaths at the time.

The coroner said that certain drug classifications could make people more susceptible to dying in the heat, including the use of fentanyl. Other contributing factors include illnesses and medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, physical exertion, certain clothing and dehydration.

Forecasters predict temperatures could reach nearly 110 degrees on Tuesday.
