LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Nevada actor has been arrested in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot, according to new court documents.
Nolan Freeman was arrested March 19 in Carson City, according to FBI records filed in the District of Columbia. The FBI said it received a credible tip in Dec. 2022 that Freeman was present at the Capitol on Jan. 6, when supporters of President Donald Trump entered the Capitol.
The FBI said Freeman’s cell phone was at the Capitol multiple times during the riot, according to a criminal complaint. Investigators also saw Freeman in multiple videos from the attack, with Freeman inside the Capitol and seen entering the Capitol through a window.
Investigators said Freeman was working at a Carson City heating company at the time of the attacks but was also a known actor, with appearances in NCIS (2019), The Rookie (2018) and Devil’s Night (2017).
Freeman was contacted for an interview in June 2023, the complaint said. Freeman confirmed his phone number with investigators but reportedly asked for a lawyer when asked about his whereabouts on Jan. 6.
