LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – No injuries were reported after a garage fire in the west Las Vegas Valley on Friday.
According to a Clark County media release, at approximately 2:27 p.m., the Combined Communications Center (fire dispatch) received calls reporting a garage fire. The first-due engine arrived to find heavy fire coming from a garage on the 2100 block of Lone Desert St.
The first-in crew established command and began to pull lines for an offensive attack. While crews worked on knocking down the fire, another crew went interior to conduct a primary life search. The search was completed with no victims found within 10 minutes of the first engine arriving.
No injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the dollar loss is estimated to be under $250,000.
