NYE COUNTY, Nev. (FOX5) — Nye County schools are testing a new artificial intelligence program in classrooms, with an emphasis on safety.
The district is partnering with MagicSchool.ai, a platform built specifically for educators.

District leaders said the goal is to build AI literacy while keeping strict controls on data privacy and student safety.
The teacher pilot started this month, giving educators access to AI tools for administrative tasks and lesson planning through the end of the school year.
Later this month, teachers will receive training to set safety rules and design learning experiences.
The program expands to students on Nov. 1.
