LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – O.J. Simpson used social media to speak for himself.
In light of Simpson’s death, FOX5 looked to his social media to see the issues the late 76-year-old discussed on his platforms such as defense to even hot takes.
Simpson also discussed his health back in February.
“It was very nice to hear good, positive words,” he said in a social media post on February 11.
Since being released from a Nevada prison in 2017, Simpson used social media to provide insight into football and hot topics in the online world.
The football star and Hollywood actor acquitted of charges he killed his former wife and her friend in a trial that mesmerized the public and exposed divisions on race and policing in America died Wednesday of prostate cancer.
Simpson earned fame, fortune and adulation through football and show business, but his legacy was forever changed by the June 1994 knife slayings of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman in Los Angeles. He was later found liable for the deaths in a separate civil case, and then served nine years in prison on unrelated charges.
