LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Circuit preparations for the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026 will bring overnight lane reductions to two Las Vegas streets between August 31 and September 13, according to a schedule released for the event.
The lane reductions are tied to work along the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. Officials said the schedule is subject to change.

Koval Lane lane reductions
During the week of August 31 through September 6, overnight lane reductions are planned on Koval Lane at Rochelle Avenue.
From September 2 through September 3, lane reductions will occur overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. in both the northbound and southbound directions on Koval Lane at Rochelle Avenue. Traffic will be momentarily stopped in all directions at approximately 2 a.m.
Harmon Avenue lane reductions
During the week of September 7 through September 13, overnight lane reductions are planned on Harmon Avenue between Las Vegas Boulevard and Koval Lane.
From September 7 through September 18, lane reductions will occur overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Harmon Avenue between Las Vegas Boulevard and Koval Lane. One lane will remain open in each direction overnight.
RTC route updates
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada will implement an overnight detour on Route 119, which serves Koval Lane and Simmons Street, from 9 p.m. Wednesday, September 2 to 6 a.m. Thursday, September 3.
Four stops will be impacted during the detour:
- Stop 1250 — northbound after Harmon Avenue
- Stop 1253 — northbound after Rochelle Avenue
- Stop 1249 — southbound after Flamingo Road
- Stop 1247 — southbound after Rochelle Avenue
