LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Nevada Department of Transportation will begin a roadway improvement project on Flamingo Road between Paradise Road and Pecos Road on Monday night, May 18.
The $339,669 federally funded project will improve safety features along the corridor. Work will include refreshed thermoplastic crosswalk markings and stop bars at intersections, new and refreshed striping and reflective roadway markers throughout the corridor, and installation of flexible guideposts and object markers.

Nightly lane reductions will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, on Flamingo Road between Paradise Road and Pecos Road. The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph throughout the work zone.
Construction is anticipated to conclude in summer 2026.
