LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A pedestrian died in an east Ls Vegas crash Wednesday night.
Las Vegas Metro Police said the crash happened at Glen Avenue east of Stratford Drive. This is near Boulder Highway and Sahara.
Around 8:51 p.m., a pedestrian was crossing Glen outside a marked crosswalk. A crash happened when the pedestrian entered the path of a Toyota Tacoma driving eastbound.
The pedestrian was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he would later die.
The driver and passenger of the Toyota remained at the scene and did not have injuries. The driver, a 46-year-old man, did not show signs of impairment.
LVMPD report the pedestrian was identified as an “unknown male” from Las Vegas.
“This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section,” police said.
