NORTH LAS VEGAS (FOX5) —The North Las Vegas Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a 10-month-old girl taken by her father early Thursday morning.
Leilani Williams, also known as Leilani Duke, was last seen at approximately 1:40 a.m. near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue. An AMBER Alert has been activated.
Police identified the suspect as Roderick Duke, 39. He is described as a Black male adult, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Duke was last seen driving a blue 2017 Chrysler 200. The license plate is unknown.
Leilani was last seen wearing a white jumper with pink trim and flowers.
Police said Duke is in emotional crisis and has made threats to harm himself and Leilani. Authorities are urging the public not to approach Duke if he is located.
Anyone who sees Duke or Leilani is asked to call 911 or the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111.
