LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A pedestrian was killed Friday evening in a crash in the south Las Vegas Valley involving an SUV.
According to a preliminary report, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to W. Richmar Ave. and S. Las Vegas Blvd. just before 6 p.m. Police said that a pedestrian was crossing Las Vegas Blvd from west to east when a white SUV, traveling south on Las Vegas Blvd., struck the adult.
Medical personnel declared the pedestrian dead on the scene. LVMPD detectives are on the scene, conducting an investigation. Expect road delays for the next few hours.
