LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A plane skidded off a runway at Harry Reid International Airport early Friday morning, airport officials say.

Around 1:30 a.m., a general aviation aircraft skidded off a runway after experiencing issues with the landing gear upon departure, officials say.

The aircraft was then towed off the runway, which was also closed off until the craft was removed, officials say. The runway has since reopened.

Officials added that no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
