LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police released details on a robbery at a Summerlin casino, during which a man dressed as security used a gun to take money from a cashier’s cage.
The incident occurred on Thursday, just before 10:30 p.m., when dispatchers received a report of an armed robbery at a casino in the 200 block of Rampart Boulevard in Summerlin.
Investigators said an unidentified man walked into the casino through the parking garage wearing a ballistic helmet, blue sunglasses, a black facemask and a blue and yellow security jacket.
Police said the suspect pulled out an AR-style rifle at the cashier’s cage and demanded money. The employee complied, and the suspect left in the same manner as he had arrived.
