LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – North Las Vegas police are searching for a vehicle involved a deadly hit-and-run crash that left one person dead over the weekend.

North Las Vegas Police Department responded to the crash on Losee Road, near Craig Road, just before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16. Arriving officers located a pedestrian – identified as a male in his 40s or 50s – who was suffering from serious injuries, and would later die at the scene.

Officers determined that the male pedestrian was walking southbound on Losee, pushing a shopping cart in the roadway, while a Jeep was traveling northbound on Losee.

The Jeep struck the pedestrian and pulled over near the collision scene, according to surveillance footage. However, the Jeep left the scene shortly after and was last seen driving northbound on Losee.
