LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Professional criterium racing will return to downtown Las Vegas in 2027, with RaceDay Event Management announcing a USA Cycling–permitted event scheduled for Feb. 27–28 in the historic Fremont District.
The two-day event is organized with the City of Las Vegas and is expected to attract top professional men’s and women’s riders from the United States and Canada. A full slate of amateur races will also be held, drawing participants from across the western United States.

“Bringing professional criterium racing back to Las Vegas is an exciting milestone for both the sport and the city,” said Dirk Cowley, CEO of RaceDay Event Management.
Mayor Shelley Berkley said the event will bring “visitors, economic impact, and energy” to the community.
