LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) on Thursday announced Dominique DiDia as the first general manager of PWHL Las Vegas, the league’s newest expansion franchise.
DiDia joins the PWHL from CAA Sports, where she launched the agency’s Women’s Hockey Department and served as co-head of the division, working with professional and amateur women’s hockey players on representation, marketing and career development.

Before joining CAA, DiDia spent nine years with the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings after starting with the organization in 2012. She rose to director of marketing and content publicity, and also served as a coach and board member for the LA Lions Girls Hockey Club, supporting the growth of girls hockey in Southern California.
CAA Sports hired DiDia in 2022 as a marketing executive in the agency’s hockey department. She worked with professional hockey athletes across the NHL and women’s hockey landscape, and later became a certified agent for PWHL players following the league’s launch.
A Los Angeles native, DiDia played for the Cal Selects Girls Hockey Club and continued her playing career at Trinity College, where she served as team captain during her senior season.
PWHL Las Vegas was formally introduced May 13 at T-Mobile Arena. The league also announced expansion to Hamilton, Ontario, this week.
Las Vegas and Hamilton join PWHL Detroit, announced May 6, bringing the league’s total to 11 teams.
The third PWHL Walter Cup Finals are currently underway between the Montréal Victoire and Ottawa Charge.
