LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – With the kickoff to Super Bowl Sunday just days away, motorists are advised of several lane restrictions and road closures scheduled to occur around Allegiant Stadium and in the Las Vegas resort corridor to accommodate the event.

Clark County has launched an SMS text update system to provide commuters with alerts about road closures and traffic impacts related to the Super Bowl. The public can opt-in to the service by texting SBLV to 31996.

Subscribers will receive a weekly text message announcing traffic impacts and closures so they can plan ahead. Other reminders and updates may be sent as needed.

Road closures for Super Bowl week in Las Vegas(Clark County)

Super Bowl-related information is on the County’s website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov/SBLV, and the road closure schedule is on the Super Bowl Host Committee’s website at https://lvsuperbowlhc.com/road-closures/. Please note that the schedule is subject to change. The list of impacts includes:

  • Full closure on Hacienda Avenue from Polaris Avenue extends to the east of Luxor Drive until Feb. 15; business access maintained from Valley View Boulevard to Polaris Avenue.
  • Full closure on Polaris Avenue from Lot W at Russell Road extends to Ali Baba Lane Friday, Feb. 9 until Feb. 13-15, with partial reopening.
  • Lane restrictions on Frank Sinatra Drive from Mandalay Bay loading dock to Russell Road until Feb.  11, with one lane northbound and two lanes southbound available; two southbound left turn lanes on Frank Sinatra closed at the intersection of Caesars Service Drive until Feb.12.
  • Two eastbound turn lanes on Russell Road at Frank Sinatra Drive closed at the back entrance of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center until Feb. 11; access to the RTC bus stop on Russell Road maintained.
  • Lane restrictions on Dean Martin Drive from Russell Road to Lot N extend to a full closure to Oquendo Road until Feb. 15, with business access maintained.
  • One-way traffic only on Dean Martin Drive from Ali Baba Lane to Tropicana Avenue until Feb. 11.
  • Lane restrictions on Sands Avenue from Howard Hughes Parkway to Paradise Avenue with the closure of the north curb lane Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. to Feb. 10 at 1 a.m.
  • One-way eastbound traffic only on Ali Baba Lane from Valley View Boulevard to Dean Martin Drive (no westbound travel) on Feb. 11.
  • Full closure on Sobb Avenue from Game Changers to Cameron Street until Feb. 11; business access maintained.
  • Full closure on Dewey Drive from Terrible’s to Polaris Avenue until Feb. 15; business access maintained.
  • Full closure of Al Davis Way from Allegiant Stadium Way to Dean Martin Drive and Allegiant Stadium Way at Hacienda Avenue in effect until Feb. 15.
  • Lane restrictions on Las Vegas Boulevard in front of the Bellagio until Feb. 16.  The sidewalk will have 24-hour access through Sunday, Feb. 11, followed by intermittent sidewalk closures through Feb. 16.

Additionally, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) will detour several routes due to Super Bowl-related impacts:

  • Routes 108 (Paradise), 109 (Maryland Parkway), and CX (Centennial Express) detoured from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 at Harry Reid International Airport, from now until Wednesday, Feb. 14.
  • Route 104 (Valley View) on Sunday, Feb. 11 from approximately 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

To navigate impacts in the resort corridor area, motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and consider alternate routes. Before heading out, it may be helpful to check navigation apps such as Apple Maps, Waze or Google Maps for the latest real-time information.
