LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A semi-truck carrying 28 cattle rolled over on the Las Vegas Spaghetti Bowl early Wednesday morning, police say.
Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a report of the crash at 12:30 a.m. on the I-15 south to I-11 south transition ramp. The semi-truck driver was not injured in the crash and is speaking with investigators.
Traffic management officials tell FOX5 that multiple cows died in the crash, though an exact number is unclear.
The I-15 south to I-11 south transition ramp will be closed for an unknown amount of time, possibly extending over six hours. The I-15 south to I-15 north ramp will remain open for traffic.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
