Café to serve as training site
The café will be open Monday through Friday, serving breakfast and lunch. It is designed as a workforce training site.
Through a partnership with the city of Las Vegas, the program gives participants hands-on training in basic culinary skills, hospitality, customer service and the expectations of a working commercial kitchen, connecting training directly to a real-world workplace.
About Chef Stew
Stewart is a Baltimore-born chef, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, author and Food Network “Cutthroat Kitchen” winner.
New option for the Westside
The café also brings a new restaurant option to the Historic Westside, near the new ShareWestside apartments and the Westside Education and Training Center, where College of Southern Nevada students are training for new careers.
