LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Two suspects arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at a homeless camp in December remain in custody, a third remains at large.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested Kylee Au Young and Cristobal Perez Thursday night. They say the pair plotted a December 1st, 2023 shooting at a homeless encampment near Charleston Boulevard and U.S. 95. Five people got shot, and two died.

Investigators say they still lack a motive for the attack, but say it was definitely targeted.

Au Young made a brief initial appearance Friday morning. The judge continued her case and ordered her held without bail.

Perez did not appear for his hearing. No reason was given. His case will also be continued, and he too will be held without bail.

Meanwhile, the search goes on for a third suspect.
