LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Two-time Emmy Award-winning actor, screenwriter and co-creator of “Ted Lasso” Brendan Hunt served as Grand Marshal for the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series Chase Race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, October 4.
Best known for his role as Coach Beard on the Emmy Award-winning Apple TV series “Ted Lasso,” Hunt gave the command, “Drivers, start your engines,” before the South Point 400 gets underway at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Hunt joins a list of entertainers, athletes and public figures who have served as Grand Marshal at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, including Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, actor Glenn Powell, Las Vegas icons Penn & Teller, and UFC President Dana White.
