As of today, there are 17 remaining Strip, independent and downtown Las Vegas properties still without a signed agreement with the Culinary Union. The union says they are planning on striking starting February 2, 2024 at 5 a.m. if the remaining properties do not come to an agreement.
Adalila Vargas, a casino cashier at Strat and Culinary Union member for 23 years said in a news release, “I am so excited for my family, my co-workers…I’m so proud to be a union member.”
The Culinary Union says the contract ratification will take place soon.
