LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has identified three people killed in a house fire.

Deputies say the house in Mohave Valley was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived around two in the morning on December 10th, 2023. The fire was also spreading to the property next door.

One man managed to escape. He told deputies his fiance and parents were still inside the burning building. They did not get out, and fire crews found three bodies once the flames were doused.

Those remains have now been identified as:

  • 54-year-old Alexander Galvez
  • 53-year-old Janell Norris
  • 20-year-old Meryia Loftin

Loftin was pregnant at the time of her death.
