LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Vegas Golden Knights will be represented by Jack Eichowl in the NHL’s Stanley Pup broadcast, a friendly canine competition celebrating the Stanley Cup Final matchup between the Golden Knights and the Carolina Hurricanes.

The broadcast will air Monday, June 8, on Sportsnet in Canada at 5 p.m. PT and on truTV and HBO Max in the U.S. at 9:30 p.m. ET.

All 32 NHL teams will be represented by a rescue dog, many of which will be available for adoption through adoption partner Brandywine Valley SPCA.

The Vegas Golden Knights will be represented by Jack Eichowl, who will playing forward and representing the Pacific Division, much like his namesake.

The broadcast will also include appearances from NHL players including Calder Trophy winner Matthew Schaefer, Logan Thompson, Seth Jarvis, Will Smith, Devin Cooley, Alex Ovechkin and Bill Guerin.

Color and play-by-play commentary will be provided by Mark Shunock and Chris Rose, with Alexa Landestoy reporting rink side.

The show will also air on NHL YouTube on June 9 at 6 a.m. PT and on NHL Network on June 10 at 5 p.m. PT and 7:30 p.m. PT.

Elias Weiss Friedman, known as The Dogist, will anchor adoption follow-up segments highlighting the impact of the Stanley Pup broadcast.
